The house was built by the merchant Gafarov trading in furs. It is in a historical part of Yeniseisk: at the corner of Bograd Street and Hudzinsky Street.
The two-storeyed semi-stone house under a hipped roof over the massive profiled cornice goes to the intersection of northern and east facades (with the outer entrance hall attached to the yard facade with a staircase). The ground floor is stone with a corner porch under the rounded-off canopy over the slanted corner of the basement with the shop. The first floor is higher and of log with the cutting, as it was accepted in living rooms in Siberian houses in old times. The platbands of harmonious windows of the second floor with traditional Yenisei platbands are of interest in a decor.
